Easy Guacamole

Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe haas avocados
  • 1 firm tomato diced
  • 1/2 small sweet onion, diced
  • 1 sprig fresh cilantro
  • juice of 2 limes
  • salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin (optional)

Equipment

  • 1 medium or large bowl

Method
 

  1. Cut the avocados in half lengthwise and remove the pits. With a spoon scoop out the ripe contents and place in a bowl. Mash well until smooth.
  2. Add diced tomatoes and onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice and salt and mix well. If you want for a it of extra flavor you can add 1/4 teaspoon of cumin to the mix.
  3. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving with tortilla chips or a Mexican meal like enchiladas or tacos. .
